John Lacey Selected as Outstanding Educator

Professor John Lacey of the Department of Accountancy has been chosen the CalCPA 2008-09 Outstanding Educator. The nomination and selection process took place in fall 2008. Lacey received the award at the June 2009 annual meeting of CalCPA, the statewide professional body of all licensed CPAs for California. In addition, John was nominated by CalCPA for the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ Distinguished Achievement in Accounting Education award. Lacey brings great distinction to himself and the CBA through his recognition by CalCPA as an outstanding educator.
