SMIF Program Appoints Advisory Board

SMIF Class of 2008-09
The faculty advisors for the Student Managed Investment Fund (SMIF), Department of Finance Professors Dick Runyon and Peter Ammermann, have invited an exceptional group of community members to serve on the SMIF Program advisory board. Composed of successful professionals from a variety of financial areas, the board includes several CBA alumni and SMIF program alumni.
Our current SMIF advisory board members are:
Norm Coulson, Maureen Flanagan (’84), Charles Hassell (’07), Doug Lopez (’85), Russell Murdock, Daniel Nikaiyn (’00), John Prichard, Wes Seegers, and Rocky Suares (’81). We are extremely grateful for their service to the SMIF program.
The current SMIF class (pictured) recently gave a presentation to the board, sharing their investment strategies and experiences during one of the worst market environments in recent history. The board found the class’ success despite the market’s volatility particularly impressive. Learn more about the SMIF program at: http://csulbsmif.org.
