Record Breaking Commencement for CBA
On May 27, the College of Business Administration held its largest Commencement ceremony to date, with close to 1,500 students participating. Speaking to an overflow crowd, CBA Dean Michael E. Solt encouraged the graduates to say in touch with the university, the CBA and each other. “Network, network, network” was his charge to the graduates, who are facing one of the toughest job markets in recent history. Despite the economic reality, spirits could not be dampened , and President F. King Alexander received thunderous applause and cheers as he conferred degrees on the assembled graduates. Afterwards, the university hosted a reception for the graduates and their guests at the University Student Union Terrace.
