How is the FEMBA different from other programs?
The Fully Employed MBA Program is an all-inclusive lock-step cohort program of 10 week sessions that includes text books, special speaker series and additional services. Designed for working professionals who need a fast-track MBA program that completes the program in less than 2 years. Doesn't interrupt weekday or evening work schedules. Minimal impact on family and friends.

When will this program begin?
New cohorts of FEMBA students begin each Fall.
Where are the classes held?
All classes are held in classrooms on the CSULB campus.
When are the classes held?
There are four ten-week sessions per year with breaks of one to three weeks scheduled between sessions. Saturdays-only classes with one class in the morning and one class in the afternoon.
Who teaches the MBA courses?
The same high-quality faculty who teach in our regular evening MBA program.
When will I graduate?
The FEMBA program takes 23 months to complete.
Is my FEMBA degree is real MBA?
Yes. The Weekend FEMBA is just our way of describing the unique package of courses and services. All MBA degrees at California State University Long Beach are fully accredited by AACSB International.
How many units do I have to take?
Like our regular MBA Program, each FEMBA Program cohort requires only 48 units to complete.
Are there areas of specialization available in the FEMBA Program?
No. The FEMBA Program is designed as a general MBA in order to give the Cohort the more desired broad-based curriculum.
What about courses I've already taken at CSULB?
If the courses are ones that are requirements for the FEMBA Program then they will, of course, count towards your degree.
When is the admissions deadline?
All FEMBA cohorts have a May 30th application deadline for admission.
What if the Program fills up?
Applications for each FEMBA cohort will be logged on a first-come, first-served basis. We always encourage early application to each cohort. We will maintain a waiting list for the next cohort. All FEMBA cohorts have a Fall Semester start date.
Will FEMBA Applicants be interviewed?
Yes. Yyou will be contacted by the Program Manager to set up an appointment with our admissions staff as the final piece of the admissions process.
What is my Cost?
The complete eight-quarter FEMBA program will cost $31,200 ($650 per unit). This includes text books, special speaker series, and additional student services. (Prices are subject to change.)
How do I apply?
Fill out the MBA Program Information Sheet. There are 5 essay questions which are also required. Everything can be found on the "Application Materials" section of our website. A CSULB Post-Baccalaureate Application is also required (you may apply online at www.csumentor.edu) along with a check made out to "CSULB" for the $55 filing fee.
