Dr. Abramis earned his doctorate in psychology, specializing in organization studies, at the University of Michigan, and worked for five years as a research associate and organization consultant at Michigan's Institute for Social Research before becoming a professor at CSULB in 1985. Dr. Abramis' has worked for a wide range of large and small organizations, including firms in high technology, manufacturing, medicine, chemical processing, the public sector, transportation, and information systems.
