International Collegiate Business Strategy Competition Strong in 2012

The International Collegiate Business Strategy Competition is a challenging competitive event whose final rounds will be held on campus from April 19 to April 21, 2012. The ICBSC is an exciting learning experience for students that puts them in direct competition with other college teams and offers an opportunity to network with business executives and students from around the world. Universities benefit by encouraging student engagement, building school pride, and providing their best students with an experience that can jump-start their careers with a resume-building activity. Our business partners can meet and recruit talented individuals.

Annette Lohman has been working diligently to recruit the college teams, and registration closed on December 31, 2011. There will be 32 teams from 19 universities; the universities pay a registration fee of $1,500 for each team registered, and this covers the cost of hosting the competition here. Purdue, Northwestern, Rice, and HEC Montreal are sending teams this year, as are several CSUs. The complete list of teams and their competitive worlds is presented below.
