CBA Wins Chick-fil-A shootout at Basketball Game with BYU-Hawaii
During halftime of the December 2 Cal State Long Beach—BYU-Hawaii basketball game, the CBA team out-shot the College of Education team 15-5 to win the Chic-fil-A free throw shooting contest. The CBA team consisted of Dean Michael Solt, Professor Art Levine, CBA Alum Travis Buchanan, and CBA Friend Ray Waters. It was great fun, with CBA alums, friends, and students cheering us on. The prize is a luncheon sponsored by Chic-fil-A sometime in the spring. Details are still being worked out about date and location, and I will keep you posted. It would be great to make this a CBA A&F event, too, and bring faculty, staff, and alums together.
