Come meet CNSM Alumni at the ALUMTalks and Networking Mixer. CNSM students will be able to:

  • Hear from experienced CNSM Alumni who have been successful in their fields
  • Discuss current CNSM topics with attendees
  • Network with fellow CNSM students and alumni

Doors open at 4:30pm. The program starts at 5:00pm. Refreshments will be served.

Jennifer Harmon
Assistant Director, Forensic Chemistry Bureau
M.A. in Public Administration - Brandman University
B.S. in Biology (Physiology option) with minor in Chemistry and Political Science - CSU Long Beach

Jennifer began employment as a Forensic Scientist with the Orange County Sheriff-Coroner Department in 2001 and has been assigned to the Forensic Alcohol and Toxicology sections of the laboratory as a toxicologist and Senior Forensic Scientist. Jennifer is currently the Assistant Director of the Forensic Chemistry Bureau, overseeing Toxicology, Forensic Alcohol, Controlled Substances, and Clandestine Laboratory Investigation operations.

Jennifer is an expert in both postmortem and ante-mortem toxicology. She has participated in numerous controlled drinking studies and ride-a-longs with the California Highway Patrol, Huntington Beach Police Department, Costa Mesa Police Department, and the Orange County Sheriff's Harbor Patrol. She has also completed the Drug Recognition Evaluation (DRE) Program and observed evaluations with the California Highway Patrol of individuals suspected to being under the influence of drugs. She has testified in nearly 200 cases involving drugs, alcohol and poly-drug use. Jennifer has presented for numerous professional organizations at the local, state, and national level including the Governors Highway Safety Association, International Association of Chiefs of Police and Indiana University's Borkenstein Drug Course. She is a technical assessor in Breath Alcohol Calibration and Toxicology Testing for ANAB, is the current president of the California Association of Toxicologists, and has testified in front of both the California State Senate and Assembly Public Safety Committees.

Geraldine Aron is the CEO and Program Director of Paleontology and Cultural Resources at Paleo Solutions since 2004. She has more than 21 years of experience as a professional paleontologist in natural resources management. Ms. Aron has worked on well over 700 projects throughout California, Montana, Wyoming, Nebraska, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, and Colorado. She is responsible for maintaining the overall scientific integrity and oversight of all projects. She is responsible for growing the firm from a 2 person firm to 60 employees with a corporate office in Monrovia and another office in Denver. We work in 12 western US states, and staff the largest number of paleontologist in the US.
