Minimum Qualifications

  • Master of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field, to teach undergraduate courses; and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering to teach graduate courses
  • Demonstrated potential for effective teaching
  • Commitment to and/or expertise in educating a diverse student population

Desired/Preferred Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering
  • Demonstrated expertise in the field of course(s) to be taught
  • Evidence of effective teaching experience

Responsibilities

Teach courses in Chemical Engineering including, but not limited to:

  • Energy and Mass Balance, Computer Methods, Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Heat & Mass Transfer, Separation Processes, Process Control, Plant Design, Environmental Engineering, Safety Engineering and Reaction Engineering
