CSULB's highly ranked College of Engineering is committed to providing access to qualified students and producing a new generation of well-trained engineers. Here are some ways to help accomplish that mission:
- 100+ Women Strong: Join the 100+ Women Strong giving campaign to help female students and faculty flourish in the field of engineering.
- Scholarships: Ensure students spend more time in labs and classrooms earning degrees, and less working part-time jobs to pay college expenses.
- Senior Design Projects: Sponsor a project and have a technical problem solkved for your organization.
- Lab Revitalization: Fund state-of-the-art equipment to help future grads hit the ground running.
- Dean's Excellence Fund: Help support the College's greatest needs, including hosting on campus educational workshop and sending students to present at professional conferences. Some of our most active student organizations include the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), Mexican American Engineers and Scientists (MAES), Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE), and the Society of Women Engineers (SWE)
- BESST: Help incoming freshmen from diverse backgrounds succeed with BESST’s cohort registration and tutoring. Read about how BESST laid the foundation for Jairo Maldonado-Contreras, a graduating mechanical engineering student who plans to pursue a PhD.
- Departments: Support a particular engineering program to reflect your interest or department need.
Ways to Give
There are many ways to show your support for the CSULB College of Engineering, from convenient and tax-deductible cash donations to securities, business shares, real estate, or bequests. - Cash and Pledges: Gifts of cash, whether by check or credit card, are the fastest and easiest way to support CSULB College of Engineering.
- Securities: Make a gift or pledge of long-term appreciated stocks, bonds, and appreciated securities and take an income-tax deduction equal to the securities' fair-market value.
- Business Interests: You can also make a gift of closely held stock, S-Corporation stock, LLC interests or shares of professional corporations.
- Real Estate: Contribute property as an outright gift or through your estate.
