The College of Ed Receives $200,000 Endowed Scholarship

The Western Shores Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR) have generously given a $200,000 endowment creating the Linna Young Memorial Scholarship. This endowed scholarship will fully support a CED post-baccalaureate student for one year of their studies. Created through the legacy of NSDAR member Linna Young, a Long Beach resident and former teacher and principal in the Los Angeles Unified School District, this endowed scholarship will make a tremendous impact on the lives of its recipients for many years to come.
