New Board Member Position for Dr. Bita Ghafoori

Dr. Bita Ghafoori, Professor - Advanced Studies in Education and Counseling, Director of the Long Beach Trauma Recovery Center (LBTRC), and Director/Coordinator of Counseling Psychology/Marriage and Family Therapy Program, was recently elected to be a Board member for the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies (ISTSS). An international interdisciplinary organization of professionals, ISTSS supports “advancement and exchange of knowledge about traumatic stress.” Congratulations to Dr. Ghafoori on this new Board position!
