Summer 2008 (Short-Term, Study Abroad Courses)

Getting Started

The Education/Study Abroad program offers CSULB students many opportunities to intern, study, teach, volunteer, and work abroad, while making progress toward their academic degree. Programs include semester and year-long options as well as short-term, summer and winter session opportunties.

The Education/Study Abroad Office also has a Resource Library that contains intern, work, volunteer, and travel abroad literature, and many overseas catalogs and related videos.

California Community College transfer students in Junior status can apply through CSULB Study Abroad while applying to CSULB for the International Program (IP).

PROGRAM SPOTLIGHT

New Study Abroad option in North Cyprus: Eastern Mediterranian University

EMU is home to over 14,000 students from 65 different countries. The campus is a five minute drive from the nearest sandy beaches and historical places of interest. North Cyprus enjoys 9 months of sunshine per year and is an ideal location for those students who would like to travel to the Middle East and Europe on short breaks while they are staying here.

CSULB students are welcome to participate in the exchange program either for a semester or for the whole academic year. The deadline for September 2008 semester is June ‘08.
