Remember, when you are testing AT, you're not testing for 508 compliance, but you are testing it for usability and you're testing JAWS performance. Hopefully, and I saw this many times, you're really testing many things, you're testing the performance of mainstream software, you're testing JAWS, and you're testing the end user. And, if the end user doesn't know how to make JAWS jump through hoops, there may be something that JAWS can do, and this gets especially true in things like excel, Microsoft Access, powerpoint. You know, it's one thing to work in words, its another thing when you get into these really fancy screen with cells and so on, you have to know how to manipulate JAWS. And JAWS works beautifully with excel, if you know how to hit the right keys.
