Technical Assistance for
Local HIV Prevention
Planning Groups

Funded by the California State Office of AIDS

Since early 1998, the Center for Behavioral Research and Services (CBRS) has provided technical assistance to HIV community planning groups (LIGs) throughout California with support from The California State Office of AIDS. These services include on-site technical assistance, regional training courses for community planning groups, and the development of our website. On-site consulting services are tailored to the particular needs of individual planning groups, while the regional workshops deal with topics of more general interest to a variety of groups.

Our staff and team of consultants are experienced in issues related to HIV prevention and the community planning process, and we stand ready to assist local planning groups in developing and refining their HIV prevention plans and developing needed skills to monitor and evaluate plan implementation.
