Director


Dennis G. Fisher, Ph.D. became the Director of CBRS in August 2000. Prior to coming to CBRS, he was Professor of Psychology at the University of Alaska Anchorage and Principal Investigator on the National Institute on Drug Abuse-funded grant “Interventions to Reduce HBV, HCV and HIV in IDUs.”  He also served as Co-Principal Investigator on the National Library of Medicine contract entitled the “Alaska Telemedicine Project.”  Dr. Fisher received his B.S. from the University of California, Riverside, an M.S. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Alaska Anchorage, his Ph.D. from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, and completed post-doctoral studies at the University of California, Los Angeles.
