Information for Two-Year Option

In order to participate in the Beach Two-Year Pledge Program, transfer students must meet certain requirements and sign a Beach Pledge contract.

Participating students must be an AD-T Transfer Student who is following the AD-T Transfer contract (eligible to complete remaining 60 baccalaureate units at CSULB).

Participating students must:

  • Maintain at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA and a 2.5 Major GPA.
  • Earn at least 30 baccalaureate units each academic year toward graduation in approved major.
    • Unit Load: Students must enroll in a minimum of 15 units per semester. However, if students wish to enroll in less than 15 units per semester, students must take winter or summer session courses in order to earn the required units within the academic year.¬†
      (Courses numbered 001-099 are excluded from the 30 required units.)
  • Each semester, submit the Degree Planner to the Beach Pledge advisor to ensure the student is on track.
  • Remain in declared major unless change is approved by designated Beach Pledge advisor.
  • Enroll in required courses during the priority registration period and pay tuition and fees by the designated date.
  • During the first academic year, meet with a career counselor in the Career Development Center or faculty advisor in the College to create a career development plan and explore internship opportunities.
