Important Privacy Choice
You have the right to control whether we share your name, address, and electronic mail address with our affinity partners (companies that we partner with to offer products or services to our alumni, such as credit cards and insurance products). Please read the following information carefully before you make your choice below:
Your Rights
You have the following rights to restrict the sharing of your name, address, and electronic mail address with our affinity partners. This form does not prohibit us from sharing your information when we are required to do so by law. This includes sending you information about the Alumni Association, the university, or other products or services.
Your Choice
Restrict Information Sharing With Affinity Partners:
Unless you say "NO," we may share your name, address, and electronic mail address with our affinity partners. Our affinity partners may send you offers to purchase various products or services that we have agreed that they can offer in partnership with us.
Time Sensitive Reply
You may decide at any time that you do not want us to share your information with our affinity partners. Your choice marked below will remain unless you state otherwise. However, if we do not hear from you, we may share your name, address, and electronic mail address with our affinity partners.
If you decide that you do not want to receive information from our partners, you may do one of the following:
- Reply electronically by contacting us via e-mail to alumnir@csulb.edu
- Call us toll-free at 1-888-883-0007.
- Print, complete, sign, and send back this form to the following address (make a copy for your records).

Dear CSULB 49er:
Please find the form below where you can notify us if you do not want to receive information about services and products offered from our affinity partners. These partners are carefully selected and screened for their proven record in working with colleges and universities throughout the nation. In addition, it offers you as an alum the opportunity to demonstrate your pride and affinity for The Beach.
Some of these services include: the CSULB Alumni Association credit card (MasterCard and American Express); and insurance products such as auto, homeowners, health, long term care, vision, dental, life, etc. You will only receive information about CSULB affinity approved products and services.
The CSULB Alumni Association also receives royalties from these partners, based on alumni participation. These funds have assisted your Association to better fulfill its mission in supporting the University. This includes funds for student scholarships, including the President's Scholars Program that has elevated the prestige of our alma mater. In addition, these monies are used for the development of alumni programs and communications to engender alumni support for current and future Cal State Long Beach students.
Please note that this opt-out form is only for affinity partner services. You will continue to receive communications directly from CSULB. These items include campus news, special alumni invitations, e-communiqués, etc.
If you have used our affinity partners, we thank you for your participation. We welcome your feedback about their services. If you wish to opt-out, please return the form as soon as possible to insure that your wishes can be processed.
