The 49er Shops are proud to provide dining services for our student residents living in University Residential Housing. For many, it can be difficult living away from home. Our Executive Chef and dining team have developed creative nutritious menus that will meet your needs and remind you of home. Just to add a little bit more excitement and value to your dining experience, Residential Dining Services also organizes special celebrations, picnics, themed meals and other events throughout the year.
We operate two on campus Residential Dining Halls, Parkside and Residence, as well as the Ground Floor Coffee House. The Residential Learning College is the newest addition to the campus community and is located just a few miles from CSULB. Each facility has similar menus that are based on a 4-week cycle and are complimented with an “all-you-can-eat” hot-food bar, deli and salad bar, fresh fruit, soups and desserts.
Monday through Friday Parkside and Residence Dining Halls provide breakfast, lunch and dinner menus. Brunch and dinner are hosted on Saturdays at the Residence Dining Hall and on Sundays at the Parkside Dining Hall. Check back regularly to see the weekly menu options for any day of the week.
Breakfast Lunch and Dinner are served seven days a week at the Residential Learning College. Monday through Friday you can enjoy the breakfast, lunch and dinner menus. Saturday and Sundays, the Residential Learning College offers brunch and dinner. Check back regularly to see weekly menu options for any day of the week.
If you are looking for a fun place to hang-out with friends that is just steps away from your room, you should consider your Coffee House. Yes, the residential area has a fun and attractive Coffee House where you can enjoy a cup of coffee or something to eat late into the evening. You may also be able to purchase other items that you need for daily living (soap, tooth paste, and other “living essentials”). We would like to hear from you as we build the options available at these locations.
