The Gift Of Art

Come one, come all.

The 49th annual California State University, Long Beach art sale is kicking off this Sunday, and it will feature more than a thousand original works from students and faculty in CSULB’s School of Art.

Some of the various types artworks that will be for sale include photography, fiber, ceramics, illustrations, metals and jewelry. The price range for the items will vary from $15 to $400.

Although the event will give attendees the chance to have dibs on the different types of original artwork, the proceeds, in turn, go back to benefiting the students by supporting student scholarships and travel.

The sale runs from 4 to 7 p.m. on Dec. 6; and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Dec. 7, 8 and 10. Extended hours are from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on December 9. The sale will be in the School of Art galleries and courtyard, between the Fine Arts 2 and Fine Arts 3 buildings on the southeastern section of the CSULB campus.

Parking is available in lot 8, off East Campus Drive.
