The Department of Economics congratulates undergraduate student Maria Carmen Hinayon for receiving the Osher Reentry Scholarship. This highly competitive scholarship is awarded to 25 reentry students who have had at least a five-year break in their education and can demonstrate financial need. Recipients of the scholarship receive $2,000 and are awarded for meeting criteria including their career goals and their motivation for returning to school.
