Professor Marshall Medoff announced his retirement from the Department of Economics faculty at the end of the 2010-11 academic year. He has elected to participate in the Faculty Early Retirement Program and will be teaching in the fall semesters. Medoff was the recipient of the 2010 CSULB Distinguished Faculty Scholarly and Creative Achievement Award. He earned a B.S. degree in mathematics from the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, an M.S. degree in statistics from the University of Illinois, Champaign, and completed his doctoral program at the University of California, Berkeley. Medoff joined the CSULB faculty in 1973.
