My fondest memories of LBSC was the proximity to the beach and the School of Education/ Administration.
I went on to get a MA in 1963 (went through the graduation with my kids ages 6, 5, and 3 there) and an Ed.D. at USC in 1981(major studies Philosophy / Sociology of Education).
I have taught for 50 years in the Education field and still remain active. Throughout my career, I have taught or have administered every level pre-K to graduate school.
I am teaching middle school in Murrieta, CA. I am working on a book dealing with California Education, a 50 year sociological perspective.
My late wife, Jeanette, also an alum (1972) and my grandson David Weise (2008), who recently graduated with a BA in Theatre Arts.
It prepared me for 50 years in education at all levels of teaching and administration. I have always liked education / administration that is one reason why I am still doing it at age 76!
