Jake Alimahomed-Wilson
Dr. Jake Alimahomed-Wilson is an Associate Professor of Sociology and current undergraduate advisor for the Department of Sociology. In 2016, Dr. Wilson received CSULB’s Distinguished Faculty Teaching Award. He is the author of two books: Solidarity Forever? Race, Gender, and Unionism in the Ports of Southern California (2016) and Getting the Goods: Ports, Labor, and the Logistics Revolution (2008, co-authored with Edna Bonacich. He is currently co-editing on a new book (with Immanuel Ness) on global logistics workers called: Choke Points: Logistics Workers Disrupting the Global Capitalist Supply Chain.
