Gary Van Arnam

Gary Van Arnam graduated from California State University, Long Beach, in 1983 with a bachelor’s degree in finance. Additionally, he completed the Financial Planning Program at the University of Southern California and the National Graduate Trust School of the American Bankers Association with honors. Gary is also a CSULB parent. 

Gary currently serves as Senior Vice President and Senior Client Advisor at Northern Trust Company in Newport Beach. Previously he was Senior Vice President and Senior Trust Officer at U.S. Trust. Prior to joining U.S. Trust, he was Vice President and Trust Officer with Security Pacific National Bank and Vice President of the Bank of America Financial Management and Trust Department in Costa Mesa.

Gary is actively involved in a number of professional and charitable organizations, serving as a Founding Board Member and a Past Board Chairman of Healthy Smiles for Kids of Orange County, Vice Chairman of the Long Beach Memorial Medical Center Foundation, a Past Board Chairman of Human Options, a past Board Chairman of the Planned Giving Round Table of Orange County, and a Past Board Chairman of the Estate Planning and Trust Council of Long Beach. 

In 2011, The Violence Prevention Coalition of Orange County awarded The Men’s Task Force of Human Options, of which Gary was the Task Force Founder and a Leader, the Ambassador of Peace Award. In 2014, he was honored as a visionary leader for helping bring accessible oral health care services to underserved children in Orange County.
