The quintic-solving algorithm in which this work culminates runs as a Mathematica notebook.

The files used by the algorithms in the notebooks are:

• Defns.txt---various definitions and functions
• S5Defns.txt---more definitions and functions
• QuinticSolve.txt---active ingredients in root-selection
• f6K.txt---the parametrized degree-6 map

These files come in two flavors:

• the self-extracting quintic.exe (67KB)
• the compressed quintic.zip (41KB)

Save and execute or unzip the archive; then alter the first cell of the notebook to agree with your directory structure.
