| Guidelines for 5-7
page paper 1. Title Page with name, date, and title of project. 2. Introduction of topic and its importance and interest to e-commerce and the Internet.3. Body of the paper, which should include a review of relevant sources (at least 5 informational resources). These secondary resources should be discussed in a coherent and meaningful way so that they address the research topic in your introduction. Make sure you use subheadings so that it is easy to read and understand where you are going with the writing. Paragraphs that exceed one page usually tip me off to disorganization in your writing and thinking. Think about subheadings and paragraphing in your presentation. 4. Summary and Conclusions should follow from the introduction of your paper and the discussion in the body. In other words, be sure to explain how you addressed the topic laid out in your introduction and summarize the implications of your topic for e-commerce managers. 5. Complete list of references using the following guidelines:6. Tables and Appendices, if used. Be sure to reference any table or appendix of information in the body of the paper. No table or appendix should be included unless it is referenced and discussed in the body of the paper. Finally, if you have any questions about style, content, format, information to include, please talk to me before you turn in your final project. Your project report must be typewritten, and double-spaced. DO NOT turn it in with any kind of cover, only a cover sheet. DO NOT go over 7 pages (the introduction, body and summary should not in any case exceed 7 pages. I will stop reading after I read 7 pages.) Check your paper for grammar and spelling. Presentation and writing will affect your final grade. Online resources (you may use other resources, both online and offline): cyberatlas.internet..comwww.mediapost.com www.digitrends.net www.zdnet.com www.cnet.com www.businessweek.com www.wired.com (both their daily news and their magazine articles) DO NOT not list visits to a company website as a "reference" unless you use an article or press release posted at that site. If you are looking for resources on a specific topic, let me know, I can often suggest online resources for topics. |
