Eric Marienthal joined the CSULB Applied Faculty in 1997. Eric attended Berkley for two years and left to tour with Al Hirt for seven months.

In 1986 he met Chick Corea and became part of Corea's Elektric Band and started recording his own dates for GRP Label. Eric has also toured with David Benoit and Lee Ritenour in addition to recording with the GRP All-Star Big Band.

He works with many of the recording studios and is a staff musician for Disney Recording. In 1998 he released Walk Tall, his tribute to Cannonball Adderley. His most recent CD, Turn Up The Heat, was released July 2001.
