Perry La Marca holds a Bachelor's Degree in Composition from CSULB. He has done Graduate work at UCLA and CSULB, and also studied with John Williams and Bruce Broughton.

In addition to teaching at "The Beach," Mr. La Marca has also taught Film Scoring, Advanced Theory, and Orchestration at Los Angeles Harbor College. Concurrently, he is busy working as a keyboardist, composer, arranger, and conductor in the music industry.

His credits include music for the America's Cup, additional music and orchestrations on the Disney TV series Hercules and Buzz Lightyear as well as numerous commercial spots including Toyota, Sierra Pacific and McDonalds. As a recording artist, his CDs featuring "The Perry La Marca Orchestra" are distributed widely throughout Japan & China where he is credited with a sort-of revival of "easy-listening" orchestral music.

For the last 10 years, Mr. La Marca has also toured with, produced, and played keyboards on recordings for Ray Conniff.
