 1999-              Development of computer-based Japanese placement  test. . Joint                        project of Department of Applied Linguistics and TESL, Japanese                        and Korean programs in East Asian Languages & Cultures at           
                        University of California, Los Angeles.  Funded by Dean’s office,    
                        University of California, Los Angeles.  (Prototype test, a goal of the 
                        first year, was completed in April, 2000).
