Michael W. Ellison, Esq.

Smith, Brennan & Dickerson, Irvine, CA

Mr. Ellison, a graduate of the University of Michigan Law School, Ann Arbor, is Chairman of the Pro Bono committee of the Orange County Bar Association. He received his B.A. from Cornell University, with a double major in philosophy and chemistry, and an M.A. in philosophy from the Rackham School of Graduate Studies at the University of Michigan. He will speak on the ethical obligations of attorneys to the community and the role that philosophy played in his work in law school and the legal profession. His law firm, Smith, Brennan & Dickerson, is devoted to litigation involving contracts, the environment, franchise, insurance, and securities law.

(Mr. Ellison's talk will begin at approximately 5:30 p.m.)
