The annual Southern California Philosophy Conference was initiated by the Department of Philosphy at the University of California, Irvine, which hosted the first four gatherings. The Department of Philosophy at California State University, Long Beach, is honored that the UCI Department has given us the opportunity to host the conference this year. It has come to play a vital role in the life of area philosophers. We hope you will join us for continuation of this tradition.
We plan a varied program with sessions of interest to all philosophers, including faculty, students, philosophers with non-academic careers, and philosophers who are unemployed or underemployed. The general public is also welcome to attend. For the Complete Program Schedule, click here.Files to download for conference publicity flyers and other documents
