Wedding Ceremonies Package
2008 Ceremony Fee: $2300.00 Non-Refundable Deposit: $900.00
2009 Ceremony Fee: $2400.00 Non-Refundable Deposit: $900.00
Package Includes:
- A two-year garden membership: $100.00 due at booking. (included in the above fee; separate check)
- Liability Insurance
- Parking for rehearsal evening & wedding day
- Coordinator and staff to set up and break down your event.
- Two hour time slot: ½ hour for guests to arrive, ½ hour for ceremony, and one hour for your photo session. Gates open at your start time.
- One hour consultation with one of our coordinators
- One hour rehearsal on Wednesday or Thursday prior to your wedding day. (unless booked with an event)
- Sound system: 8 speakers, 3 microphones for the ceremony only.
- 16 white resin chairs for the immediate family. All other chairs will be $1.00ea payable at rehearsal
- Ivory market umbrellas placed throughout the garden for shade when & where needed.
- We have you bring everything that applies to your wedding the night of rehearsal and our staff will set it up for you the day of your wedding.
- Parking signs to the garden the day of your event
Discounts:
• CSULB Alumni, Faculty, Staff & students get a $50.00 per hour discount.
• Monday – Thursday events will receive a 25% discount off the site fee.
• 9-11am wedding ceremonies get a special price. (See specials page)
• Some of our Preferred Professionals offer a discount by mentioning/booking the Japanese Garden.
Amenities:
- Invitations: Contact Garden rental office
- Water setup $40.00: We include table, linen, umbrella, bucket & ice, and then you bring the water.
- Chair Covers: $4.95ea
- Rehearsal Dinner $300.00: Two hours in the Friends Garden, which we include the tables, chairs & centerpieces. Catering by “The Grand”
In order to book a Wedding Ceremony you will need to:
• Pay Deposit of $900.00-NON-REFUNDABLE (Personal check, cash, credit card or cashiers check accepted)
• Pay Membership of $100.00 (Personal check, cash, credit card or cashiers check accepted)
• Sign & send back contract & payment within seven days of receipt
