Event Regulations Rehearsal Information
The following information is important to the success of your event and protection
of the Garden.
Please Read Carefully Regulations:
Children between the ages of 2-10 years old are not permitted in the garden after dusk. Approximately 8:30pm during the months of May-August.
Favors: Please do not use any chocolate favors. They will not withstand the outdoors and the heat.
Rice, birdseed, bubbles, confetti and flower petals of any kind, real or silk, are not allowed in the garden or in the courtyard except on the cake table.
The main gate of the garden will remain closed until 10 minutes before your reserved scheduled time. Please make sure the wedding party and guests are aware of this, so they will not arrive early.
Decorations should be limited to ribbon or flowers that can be tied on the bridge railings. All decorations plans need to be approved by the garden coordinator. Please give your decorating plans in writing to our Events Manager. It must be approved by her or it will not be accommodated.
Alcohol is not permitted in the garden during a wedding ceremony. It is only permitted during the reception if served by The Grand
No changes or additions can be made to the event after the rehearsal night.
Refreshment tables are not allowed during a ceremony unless you purchase our water set up that provides a table, linen, umbrella and ice. For a reception, the bar is to provide all beverages except for coffee and punch which may come in your catering package.
Pyrotechnics are not permitted at any event.
Fish and other animals are not to be used as centerpieces.
Rehearsals:
There will be a $50.00 late fee for rehearsals that start 15 minutes or later. We book rehearsals in one hour time slots with many groups scheduled on the same day.
We cannot guarantee that the coordinator at your rehearsal will be the coordinator of your wedding. Our staff is composed of students and they have class schedules that we must work around. We can promise that the coordinator of your rehearsal will meet with your wedding coordinator and go over any changes of your event.
Parking in Lot 16 and 14 is free of charge on the night of your rehearsal with a parking pass giving to you by your coordinator.
We ask that you bring all items pertaining to your event on the night of your rehearsal. If not, your coordinator will not be responsible for setting up those items.
The equipment cost must be paid the night of the rehearsal in cash or by cashiers check or money order
