The Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve is located in Huntington Beach, California. The reserve is open to the public and there is a wonderful trail which overlooks the wetlands, tidal mudflats and Tern Islands. Thousands of songbirds, hawks, shorebirds, herons, seabirds and ducks occupy the reserve year-round! The Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve plays a crucial role in the region as a feeding, stop-over and breeding site for all types of migrating birds. |
