Events and Meetings

Activities • Associated Students Inc. will host various activities this week in the University Student Union, from 7 a.m. to 2 a.m. May 15-19. They include a yoga class at 7:30 p.m. May 15 in the Los Alamitos Bay Room, and massage sessions at 2 p.m. May 16 and 18, and 10 a.m. May 17. The Games Center will have extended hours from 9 a.m. to midnight May 15 and 16, 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. May 17-19.

Meeting • The Pacific Islander’s Association will host a meeting at 6:30 p.m. May 17 in F04-277.Arts and Entertainment

Film • The University Theatre will host the Student Filmmaker Showcase at 8 p.m. May 18-20. Tickets are $5 in advance and $8 at the door, $6 with student ID.

Class
• Learn how to draw in a beginning art class at 9 a.m. May 20 at Pulp Fiction located at 450I E. Carson St. All skill levels welcome. Cost is $15, which includes two hours instruction and supplies.Sports

Karate
• The Shotokan Karate Club meets from noon to 1 p.m. and from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Mondays, from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesdays, from noon to 2 p.m. Fridays and from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Saturdays in PE-60A. For more information, e-mail the club at shotokan@csulb.edu
