  • Our view: Meaning of citizenship needs revision
The duty of protecting citizens and ensuring peace within the community is a tremendous responsibility the people of the United States have entrusted to the police department and, ultimately, leaders in government.
  • Work of one woman contributes to community
There are many social problems that plague our streets every day. One social problem that has the most impact to those less fortunate is hunger. Hunger is something poor and homeless people must deal with daily. They must deal with this because they don’t have access to basic resources needed to survive and live.
  • Modesty is key, in fashion it pays to be yourself
After two years at this school, I still can’t believe I’m adjusting to the fickle fashion trends strutting around campus. For 13 years, I felt a lot like Batman or Superman because it seemed like my closet was filled with nothing but multiple blue plaid skirts, matching vests, sweaters and, of course, those annoying button-up white shirts.
