  • Parkside dining hall closed down
    The Parkside Commons dining hall reopened after being closed Feb. 14 by the Long Beach Bureau of Environment Health due to failing the bureau ’s routine Food Facility Inspection.

    Turnitin.com has been working to prevent plagiarism since 1996 around the world, and it is currently being used at Cal State Long Beach.

  • Cheer team tumbles to national title
    Hours of practice, dedication and years of experience led the Cal State Long Beach Co-Ed Cheer squad to the No. 1 spot at the United Spirit Association Collegiate Nationals in Las Vegas on Feb. 6.

    A victory against No. 2-ranked UCLA last week was the first win against the Bruins since 2002 for the Long Beach State women’s softball team.

    With the NBA trading deadline coming up Thursday, the only things for certain are that the 32 organizations’ phone lines will be ringing constantly and that their phone bills will be pretty high.
