Thursday

• Auto Theft — 3:05 p.m. — A ’97 Honda was stolen from Parkside Commons Lot 14. The vehicle was found on Feb 8 at 7:51 p.m. and was returned to the owner with no damages.

Friday

• Assault — 7:42 a.m. — Victim was riding in the front passenger seat when the assailant struck her while driving on the 605S freeway. The victim told officers that her boyfriend hit her twice in the face and threatened to hit her again is she called the police. The 18-year-old student refused medical attention and suffered minor to major facial damage.

Saturday

• Fire — 1:56 p.m. — There was a report of a smell of smoke in the area of the KKJZ station. Facilities Management checked the area and no fire or signs of any damage were found.

• Auto Burglary — 3:08 p.m. — A ‘97 Honda was broken into in Parkside Commons Lot 14. The unknown suspect stole a CD player estimated to be valued at $340, clothing and a Christina Aguilera CD.

Monday

• Marijuana complaint — 10:30 p.m. — During a routine fire drill at Residence Hall a resident advisor found some marijuana paraphernalia in a dorm room. The police were notified but no criminal action was taken. Student housing will do an investigation of the situation.
